Informed by Sweden’s distilling heritage, Cariel Vanilla Vodka is crafted by blending natural spring water with a distillate of Swedish winter wheat and flavoured with natural vanilla sourced from India and Madagascar. This particular combination gives the vodka its signature smooth richness and intensity of flavour.
_x005F_x000D_A premium spirit that’s as good for sipping neat as it is for mixing, and notable for being the original vanilla vodka which Douglas Ankrah used to create the iconic Pornstar Martini.
_x005F_x000D_Cariel’s master blender Peter Carlson selects the finest Swedish Winter wheat available from the Swedish Farmer’s Association (SFA).
_x005F_x000D_Grown in South-West Sweden, the grains are planted in the autumn before being harvested in the springtime, and then triple-distilled in small batches in copper pot stills.
_x005F_x000D_This is then transported to the town of Motala on the shores of Lake Vättern, where the distillate is blended with pure lake waters and vanilla from Kerala in India, and Madagascar. The former contributes creamy, soft buttery notes, whilst the Madagascan vanilla delivers distinctively floral and fruity characteristics.
